Privacy policy
According to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree 196/03 and subsequent amendments, Villa Nina di Giottoli Liliana p.iva 04798890234, as the data controller, with registered office in Caprino Veronese in via Lumini 883, informs that it processes the personal data of the data subject (customers, suppliers, employees), both by automated and paper means, in an ethical and transparent manner, only for lawful purposes and in a way that safeguards the privacy and rights of the data subject. The processing takes place for the following purposes:
a) for the execution of the contract for accommodation at the "Villa Nina di Giottoli Liliana" Tourist Rental. In particular, to obtain and confirm the booking of accommodation and other services, and in order to provide such services as requested by the data subject. This processing is necessary for the definition and execution of the Contract which constitutes the legal basis of the processing and therefore, pursuant to art. 6 of the GDPR, the consent of the data subject is not required. The processing will cease once the check-out is completed, although some of the personal information may (or in some cases, must) continue to be processed for the purposes and in the manner described below;
b) for compliance with the "Public Security Law" (Article 109 Royal Decree 773, 18/6/1931). This regulation requires that all persons (including minors) staying at our "Villa Nina" facility be identified and that our guests' identification data be transmitted to the State Police, for public security reasons, in the manner established by the Ministry of the Interior (decree of 7 January 2013). The transmission of data is mandatory and does not require the consent of the data subject.
c) for the management of administrative (including ISTAT statistical recording of attendance), legal, accounting and tax obligations, as provided for by current laws or regulations; for these purposes, consent is not required. Personal data is processed by Villa Nina di Giottoli Liliana and its data processors and is disclosed outside the company only for the obligations required by law to credit institutions (for the execution or receipt of payments), insurance companies (for any liability for damages), professionals (accountants, labor consultants, tax consultants, accountants, lawyers). The data acquired for these purposes is processed for the period of time required by current Italian legislation (10 years - or more, in the case of tax audits);
d) for the protection of people, property and company assets, using a video surveillance system installed in the common areas of the "Villa Nina" facility, which are duly identified by signage. Consent is not required for this processing because it is carried out in accordance with the legitimate interest of Liliana Giottoli to safeguard people and property against potential violence, theft, robbery, damage and vandalism. These images are not subject to disclosure to third parties, except as required to satisfy any specific investigative request from the security forces of the State or the Italian Judiciary.
The processing of data required at points a), b), and c) is strictly connected to the execution of the accommodation contract, any opposition to the processing will result in the impossibility of performing the related services, and in particular, we will not be able to confirm the reservation or provide the requested services.
